Do you remember what Friday nights used to look like growing up? Before movie streaming and everything online, it was that exciting trip to Blockbuster to choose a movie for the night and on the way home picking up a Slushie from 7-Eleven. We all remember those nostalgic days growing up.

It gives us great pleasure to host and welcome all the way from Dallas, Texas, James W. Keyes as our guest speaker for our ‘Audience with’ series on 12 JUN 2024.

James previously served as CEO of 7-Eleven joining the company 1996 until 2005. In 2007 he served as Chairman and CEO of Blockbuster between 2007 and 2011. In 2007, James helped Blockbuster acquire ‘Movielink’, a streaming video service to compete with Netflix and Apple. He is the proud recipient of the ‘Ellis Island Medal of Honour’, he serves on numerous civic and social impact boards along with being the author of ‘Education is Freedom’ his latest book.

With years of knowledge and experience under his belt, James joins us in a very open and candid Q&A session to share his wisdom on education, business, and the dos and don’ts when it comes to making crucial business decisions. In addition to joining us, James will be gifting signed copies of his new book on the evening.
