First founded in London’s Piccadilly in 1707, Fortnum & Mason remains an essential destination for anyone in search of extraordinary food, exceptional service and joy-giving things. Steeped in history, Fortnum & Mason invented the Scotch egg, a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat, breaded, and deep-fried. It was originally designed as a portable snack for travellers.
